Yarbo M Series Review: M10 vs M20 vs M20i (Mow, Snow, Leaves)

The Yarbo M Series tracked Core beside its snap-on mower module

Most robot mowers do one job. The Yarbo M Series does four — one tracked robot that mows, plows snow, collects leaves and trims edges, replacing a lawn mower, a snow blower, a leaf blower and a string trimmer with a single platform. As an authorized Yarbo dealer that sets these up and services them, here’s our honest, hands-on take — and which of the three models is right for you.

One Core, four jobs

The heart of the system is a tracked Core that accepts interchangeable modules. Snap on the mower for summer, the snow plow for winter, the leaf collector in fall, or the edge trimmer any time. The collector is the clever one — it picks up debris and auto-dumps at 50+ spots you configure, then goes back to work on its own.

Setup & mapping — no boundary wires

There’s no wire to bury. The M Series maps your property with NetRTK plus AI vision cameras (and 360° LiDAR on the M20i). In the video we walk through the full first-run setup and mapping. This is also where buying from a dealer pays off: we come out, map your yard, set the zones and no-go areas, and hand you a robot that’s already running — not a box to figure out yourself.

Battery, runtime & fast charging

The two battery tiers change how much you cover per run:

Both support wireless fast charging, so there’s no plug to line up.

Slopes, terrain & navigation

This is where the tracked design shines. The M Series handles slopes up to ~35° and clears roughly 2-inch steps — ditches, ruts and uneven ground that stop wheeled robots. All models navigate with NetRTK + AI vision; the M20i adds 360° LiDAR for the trickiest, most cluttered yards.

Short version: M10 for a straightforward yard up to about an acre, M20 when you need more coverage and power, and M20i when your property is big and complicated enough that the extra LiDAR earns its keep.

Pricing & what to know before you buy

The M Series launched at introductory pricing — roughly $2,199 for an M10 with just the mower module, around $4,199–$4,899 for a full four-module kit (M10/M20 up to the M20i), and $699–$799 per individual module if you add capabilities later. Retail pricing runs higher, and availability is rolling out through 2026, so check current pricing and lead times with us before you plan around it.

Warranty and support are where an authorized dealer matters most on a brand-new platform — you want someone local who can service it, not an overseas RMA.

Who it’s for (and who it’s not)

Buy it if you have a big, rough, or multi-season property and you’d otherwise own several machines — the M Series genuinely consolidates four of them, and the tracked Core goes where wheeled robots can’t.

Skip it if you have a small, flat, simple lawn — a compact wheeled robot (a Navimow X4 or LUBA 3) will cost less and do that job just fine.

Frequently asked

What's the difference between the Yarbo M10, M20 and M20i?

The M10 is the smaller-yard unit (up to ~1 acre, 10Ah battery, ~30-min fast charge). The M20 steps up to ~1.5 acres with a 20Ah battery and stronger motors. The M20i is the same size class as the M20 but adds 360° LiDAR on top of NetRTK + AI vision, for the most complex, obstacle-heavy yards.

Can one Yarbo really mow, plow snow, and collect leaves?

Yes — that's the whole idea. A single tracked Core accepts four interchangeable modules: a mower, a snow plow/blower, a leaf collector (it auto-dumps at your configured spots), and an edge trimmer. You swap the module for the season instead of buying four separate machines.

Does the Yarbo M Series need a boundary wire?

No. It maps your property with NetRTK plus AI vision cameras (LiDAR too, on the M20i) — no perimeter wire to bury. As your authorized dealer we handle the mapping and setup for you.

What slopes and terrain can it handle?

Its tracked drive handles slopes up to about 35° and can clear roughly 2-inch steps — which is why it's a favorite for big, rough, or uneven properties where wheeled robots struggle.
