For years, a traditional mowing crew serviced this property. And for years, the lawn kept getting torn up — ruts, gouges, and scalped turf on nearly every visit.
Here’s the thing: it wasn’t the crew’s fault.
Commercial gas mowers are heavy. Put hundreds of pounds of machine on a steep, sometimes damp slope, and the wheels lose traction, slide, and shred the turf beneath them. On a property like this one, there was simply no way for heavy equipment to mow without doing damage.
The homeowner didn’t need a better crew. They needed a fundamentally different approach.
